About Triad/Holmes Associates

Triad/Holmes Associates is a full-service civil engineering and land surveying firm that has been providing professional services in California for over 30 years. We have extensive experience in both land development and public works infrastructure projects.

Our services encompass all phases of project development including:

We serve a broad range of private and public sector clients through three offices with a combined staff of over 20 employees. Our offices are located in the Eastern Sierra (Mammoth Lakes and Bishop) and the San Francisco Bay Area (Redwood City).

Our Experience

Our engineers and surveyors are experienced in a wide variety of projects and use the latest CAD systems and design software. Final products can be delivered in either electronic or hard copy format as requested by each client. Triad/Holmes Associates also uses the latest inter-office communication technology to make the experience of working with us as easy as possible for you.

Our History

Triad/Holmes Associates originated in California’s Eastern Sierra, created by the merger of Triad Engineering and Holmes Engineering and Development Company in 1994.

Triad Engineering was originally established in Mammoth Lakes in 1979 and Holmes Engineering and Development Company in Bishop in 1963. The two full-service civil engineering and surveying companies served a broad client base in Inyo and Mono Counties.

This broad geographic region provided Triad/Holmes Associates with very diverse project knowledge that significantly enhanced our capacity to develop the best engineering solutions for our clients.

In addition, because of our ability to pool company assets, all Triad/Holmes Associates offices have access to added resources as needed to meet challenging deadlines on projects of all sizes.
